Other food concepts

Diet for a Green Planet is a healthy diet, fully in line with the Swedish National Food Agency's dietary guidelines. The concept is also about producing food in a sustainable way for the planet. It can be applied across the globe and will result in different foods on the plates depending on place and season.

The EAT-lancet commission report "Food, Planet, Health", compiled by 37 prominent scientists from around the world, has the same starting point as Diet for a Green Planet – a healthy diet that is sustainably produced. This prestigious report was presented in January 2019 and confirms the criteria for Diet for a Green Planet.

Another noted concept is the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) "One Planet Plate", launched in 2018. This is a guide, and a project on labeling of foods. The One Planet Plate also corresponds with Diet for a Green Planet and advocates sustainable meals that benefit the climate, biodiversity and health.
