Södertälje Sustainable Food Society 2011–2013

The project Södertälje Sustainable Food Society worked to establish and bring together participants in the food sector.

The participants were farmers, manufacturers, distributors, restaurants, public kitchens, tourism initiatives, organizations and others, who believe that a commitment to sustainable production and development of local partnership throughout the food chain can save both the Baltic Sea from eutrophication as well as reduce climate impact.

The project also worked with the pedagogical showcase garden "Your 2000 square meters", open farm visits and other outreach activities.

The project was funded by Leader Södertälje Landsbygd (Rural Development Programme).
